An authentic wine produced from the original Garnacha, which was first cultivated in Aragón in the 7th Century, and spread around Europe by the Medieval Kingdom of Aragón. Calatayud produces a unique expression of Garnacha due to its geographic and climactic conditions.

As Spain's highest altitude region for the production of Garnacha, the temperature swings are radical - up to 60°F in the summer.

Breca is 100% made from Garnacha Tinta. The grapes come from old vines planted between 1925 and 1945, on the tops of hills at 900m, on clay soils of decomposed slate.

This produces wines with deep color and character, as well as lively acidity. The wine is characterized by aromas of ripe black fruit, overlaid with spices such as black pepper. There is an obvious minerality to the wine, proceeding from vineyards' diverse range of soil types.

Red wine Aged in wood. 13 months in French oak barrels.

Breca 2021 is a cherry-red garnet-hued red wine with violet edges. On the nose, it stands out for its intensity, with aromas of ripe fruits such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by spicy, toasted, and coffee notes. On the palate, it is powerful and flavorful, with a strong initial attack and a broad, rounded passage. Its finish is tannic and enduring, offering a concentrated profile that leaves a lasting impression.
